The "Planète Copropriété" association was established in December 2009.
It was "thought up" by active members of the "Chantier Copropriété (Co-ownership Project)" [LINK to the chantier copropriété site of the Grenelle Building Plan for the very precise purpose of organizing and invigorating the European Colloquium on "Co-ownership Properties and Sustainable Development in Europe".
The purpose of this association is to group the various players in the co-ownership field: co-ownership managers – co-owners – prime contractors (architects and design offices) – project owner assistance – contractors – certification and labeling entities – financing entities – public participants.
It is the only association grouping organizations in such diversified fields. As was indicated by Philippe PELLETIER, Chairman of the Grenelle Strategic Committee, on the day of its launch, "Grenelle certainly moves the lines ". Our "transverse" association is indeed the proof of this. Thus it is open to all participants – whoever they may be – who want to join us and urge / help co-ownership carry out projects for upgrading energy efficiency and reach the Grenelle objectives.
Why "Planète Copropriété" ?
"Planète Copropriété" because the world of co-ownership is a very specific one, with its own operating rules. It's a complex world, in which it is hard to make decisions: an odd kind of "planet". "Planète Copropriété" because co-owned properties are characterized by very mediocre energy performance and it is vital to improve them very markedly if we want to contribute effectively to the struggle against global warming, and hence to protection of our planet.
